JWPA signed an MOU for mutual cooperation with NOW (Norwegian Offshore Wind) which is a Norwegian offshore wind power organization. Norway is keen to develop floating offshore wind power. JWPA and GWEC jointly held the Global Offshore Wind Summit – Japan 2022 (GOWSJ2022) in Akita on November 9-10 2022. There were 720 participants from about 25 countries (preliminary figures).
