Japanese METI&MLIT hold government-industry dialogue for offshore wind

The Japanese government (METI & MLIT) has announced that it will hold a public-private dialogue committee for promoting offshore wind power in the afternoon on 17 July 2020 in Tokyo.
It is a system that scoops up the voice of the industrial world of various power sources.
It is a concept similar to Sector Deal in UK and Poland.

JWPA has proposed the offshore wind target such as; 10GW by 2030 and 30GW-45GW by 2040.

Ministers of both Ministry attended the committee.
Recently, Japanese government has made significant announcements regarding offshore wind power.
Japan is about to enter the age of full-scale offshore wind power.
