Kitakyushu city government has announced the public invitation to “Nearshore Wind-Energy in the Kitakyushu Hibikinada.”
Kitakyushu city government has announced the public invitation to “Nearshore Wind-Energy in the Kitakyushu Hibikinada.”
This is the first offshore wind power auction based on the amended port and harbor law in Japan.
The city government expects 200 MW (+300 MW extension) of development.
It may start construction from Apr. 2021.
Wind Energy Industry Promotion Section, “Green Energy Port” Development & Promotion Division City of Kitakyushu is in charge of this issue.
