Cost of Wind Power Generation (Power Generation Cost)
The 3rd floating wind turbine for FukushimaFORWARD project has set sail from Osaka bay to Fukushima on 2 July.
This is 5MW Huitach downwind type wind turbine. It has been installed on the advanced spar type floater which is designed by JMU, from May to June about 2km offshore from Awaji Island in Osaka bay.
It will start operation by the end of 2016 at 20km offshore from Fukushima.
