Installed capacity of wind power generation at the end of 2015: 3,038 MW, 2,077 units
JWPA announces the installed capacity of wind power generation in Japan as of the end of December 2015 and the estimated data for FY2015 (as of the end of March 2016). They are surveyed by the JWPA.
Cumulative installed capacity at the end of December, 2015
= 3,038MW, 2,077 units, 434 sites
Net new installation for 2015 (January-December)
= 244 MW, 109 units, 22 sites
Estimated cumulative installed capacity at the end of FY 2015 (end of March 2016)
= 3,167 MW, 2,143 units, 441 sites
Estimated net new installation for FY 2015 (April 2015 – March 2016)
= 246 MW, 118 units, 20 sites
