December 21: Number of members of JWPA has exceeded 200.
Japan Wind Power Association has been active for 11 years since its foundation as the private organization on December 17, 2001. Newly joined members were approved by the board of directors on December 21, 2011 and the number of organizational members of JWPA has reached to 200.
The FIT for renewable energy will start from July 1, 2012. JWPA will work to achieve the objectives listed below:
･Energy security (Improvement in the self sufficiency rate)
･Prevent global warming
･Sustainable economy and job security of an industry
JWPA welcomes any suggestions and support from its members.
