Hokkaido Electric Power Co. (HEPCO) start recruiting 1GW of new wind power with large battery
Hokkaido Electric Power Co. (HEPCO) start recruiting 1GW of new wind power with large batteries which are installed at substations in the grid lines.
Many developers will propose this recruiting, because of the good wind resources at Hokkaido.
The cost of battery shall be co-burdened by bidding winners.
The recruiting will be done at 2 stages.
1st stage, 600MW of new wind power, with 90MW x 4 hours of battery
2nd stage, 400MW of new wind power, with 60MW x 4 hours of battery
The recruiting for 1st stage starts from 12 April and close accepting 10 May.
